Working Party Saturday 19th September

Volunteers are needed for a working party on Saturday morning commencing at 10.00. This involves helping Ron with the end of season work on the square, taking down the netting from the practice area, and a general tidy up of the ground. The more helpers we have the quicker the work will be done, and hopefully everything will be completed by lunchtime.

This year's annual battle for the Frank Orme Trophy will take place on Sunday 6th September. All players who wish to take part are asked to notify their captains or Les King by Monday evening (31st August).

Promotion Secured For Sunday 2nd XI

Our Arden Sunday League fixtures came to a close last weekend with the 2nd XI's winning draw at Kings Heath securing 2nd place in Division 4. Congratulations to skippers Matt Read and Adrian Maguire and to all players who went the whole season undefeated. We all look forward to competing in Division 3 next year.
The 1st XI finished a respectable 4th place in Division 1, a good effort considering the youthful make up of the side.
